PRISMATECH: FIRST TIME AT ANUGA FOODTEC EXHIBITION
From 19th to 22nd March 2024 PRISMATECH will be exhibiting for the first time at Anuga FoodTec in Cologne, Germany (Hall 4.1, Stand B059). During the trade fair, which is a main reference for the Food & Beverage industry worldwide, PRISMATECH’s innovative machinery and solutions will be introduced to an ever-greater number of people, particularly the new MIX-TECH and the benefits it offers in terms of energy and improved performance.
SOLUTIONS FOR EVERY REQUIREMENT
The MIX-TECH is designed to produce a wide variety of beverages: both non-alcoholic and alcoholic; carbonated and non-carbonated soft drinks; and even carbonated and flavoured water. All this with a single machine, so that the most diverse requirements can be met whilst also reducing waste and costs.
The MIX-TECH system allows the deaeration, mixing and carbonation of drinks and is designed to produce high quality products with less waste thanks to its software with an innovative user interface.
HOW DOES THE MIX-TECH WORK?
The PRISMATECH MIX-TECH system, also called Premix or mixer-saturator, involves the use of two horizontal tanks: one of these allows the increased dispersion of water, thus increasing the contact time with the vacuum, and consequently improving deaeration. Nebulisation is done through a ring with multiple nozzles, creating an improved atomisation, and can remove a high amount of oxygen. Oxygen is the ‘enemy’ in drink carbonation, and this important deaeration step allows for persistent bubbles, before and after opening.
With the implementation of a second deaeration stage, in addition to CO2 stripping, an even higher deaeration performance can be achieved, both for applications where high levels of carbonation are required and for product waters with a high oxygen load.
Additionally, the latest version of the Premix is equipped with a more precise ingredient dosing system and, with the addition of instruments such as Brix analysis units for sugar-sweetened and diet soft drinks, CO2 analysis units to measure the level of carbonation in carbonated drinks and O2 analysers to measure the level of oxygen present, the process is increasingly automated.
THE ADVANTAGES
The new MIX-TECH mixer is more compact and its dimensions favour packing in a single container for more sustainable shipping. In addition, the optimisation of the technology used ensures significant energy and water savings, and the implementation of integrated control systems allows continuous monitoring of all parameters, ensuring the production of a high-quality beverage that passes all quality control tests, and reducing product waste. Complete compatibility with existing or new CIP and filling systems means that PRISMATECH’s MIX-TECH is the right choice for those who want to have quality beverage production, day after day.
